National Selection Trials Announced for WMF U23 World Cup 2026
The Minifootball Association of India (MAI) is pleased to announce the National Selection Trials for the WMF U23 World Cup 2026.
The trials will provide talented young minifootball players from across India with an opportunity to compete for selection to the Indian National U23 Team, which will represent India at the WMF U23 World Cup 2026 in Mali Lošinj, Croatia.
Eligibility
Players must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Must be under 23 years of age at the tournament date in October 2026.

Eligible players must be born between 1 January 2003 and 31 December 2010.

Must be an Indian citizen and provide valid passport evidence.

Parental consent is required for players under 18.

There is no over-age player provision.
Zone 1 – Thane Trials
Date: Saturday, 22 August 2026
Venue: Vartak Leno Sports Park, Thane, Maharashtra
Time: Time slots will be announced separately.
Selected players will have the opportunity to join the India National Team for the WMF U23 World Cup 2026, scheduled to take place from 13 to 16 October 2026.
MAI encourages eligible young players with the talent, determination and passion to represent India to participate in the selection process.
